Baidu Algorithm Update: Hurricane 3.0
Hurricane Algorithm 3.0 is about to go online to control cross-domain collection and station cluster problems.
In order to maintain a healthy internet landscape, ensure the user experience, and ensure that high-quality sites / intelligent apps can obtain reasonable traffic distribution, Baidu Search will upgrade the hurricane algorithm in the near future and launch Hurricane Algorithm 3.0.
This algorithm upgrade is mainly for cross-domain collection and station group problems, and will cover PC sites, H5 sites, intelligent applets and other contents under Baidu search. For sites/intelligent applets covered by algorithms, the display of search results will be limited as appropriate according to the severity of the violation problem.
The following details the relevant rules of Hurricane Algorithm 3.0.
I. Cross-domain capture:
It refers to the site/intelligent applet publishing content that does not fall within the scope of the site/intelligent applet field in order to obtain more traffic. Usually, this content is collected from the Internet, with low content quality and relevance, and low value to search users. Such behavioral search will determine that the site/intelligent applet has insufficient domain focus and will be limited to varying degrees.
Cross-domain collection mainly includes the following two types of problems:
Category 1:
Information such as the content/title/keywords/summary of the main site or homepage shows that the site has a clear field or industry, but the published content is not relevant to this field or is less relevant.
Example of the problem: Food intelligent applet releases football-related content
The second category:
the site/intelligent applet has no clear field or industry, and the content involves multiple fields or industries, with vague fields and low domain concentration.
Example of the problem: The content of smart applet involves multiple fields
II. Station group problem:
Refers to the behavior of constructing multiple sites/intelligent applets in batches to obtain search traffic. Most of the sites/intelligent applets in the site group are of low quality, low resource scarcity, high content similarity, and even reuse of the same template, which is difficult to meet the needs of search users.
Example of the problem: Multiple intelligent applets reuse the same template, with high content repetition, less content and low content scarcity
The above is the relevant explanation of Hurricane Algorithm 3.0, which is expected to be launched in August. Please check the reminders of letters, text messages and other channels in the station in time, actively check and complete rectification by yourself to avoid unnecessary losses.
